Making Banks: The Musical follows protagonist Robin on the precipice of her 18th birthday. For such a monumental event, her family requires her to fulfill a monumental task: planning (and successfully executing) a grand bank heist.
It All Began Here…
This show, based off a multifaceted song entry from Triple S (or, Showpeople Songwriting Showdown), features the work of around 13 emerging artists.
It was written, rehearsed, and filmed within just about a week in December of 2024, premiering on New Year’s Eve (into New Year’s Day of ‘25).

what’s next for making banks?
Banks is headed to Long Island City this December as part of the first-ever Showpeople Theatre Festival!
It will play as the first half of a double-feature concert on Thursday December 4th. Its following concert production counterpart is Lost Justice.
We’re excited to revisit this piece as a company and to introduce it to more audiences!
